It all started with a desire to hold onto what felt
fleeting.
I’m Neha, a Vancouver-based family photographer, a mother deeply rooted in family life, and someone who believes the most meaningful moments are often the quiet, in-between ones.
I photograph families who value connection over perfection and want images that feel like belonging.
I’ve always been drawn to what feels soft, real, and lived-in.
Whether I’m photographing families or the natural world, I’m moved by light, stillness, and the way moments unfold when nothing is forced.
Photography, to me, should feel like a slow walk through the forest grounding, gentle, and quietly nostalgic.
This way of seeing shapes everything I create.
I’m naturally more introverted.
Stepping into new spaces and meeting new families has become its own kind of adventure one that’s taught me how presence doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful.
It’s allowed me to notice the small things:
the way hands naturally reach for each other,
the pause between laughter,
the calm that settles when people feel safe.
Those are the moments photograph.
Becoming a mother changed the way I see everything.
It showed me how quickly time moves
and how ordinary days quietly become
the ones we miss the most.
My daughter is a constant reminder
of why this work matters to create something
honest and lasting, something that can be
returned to years from now and still feel true.
These are moments from my own family,
photographed not because they were perfect,
but because they were ours.
This is why I photograph the way I do: so you don’t just remember what life looked like, but how it felt.
My approach is relaxed and child-led.
I don’t chase perfection or stiff poses.
I guide gently, allowing space for families to simply be together trusting that real connection always rises to the surface.
The result is imagery that feels natural, emotive, and deeply personal.
Beyond family photography, I also create fine art prints inspired by nature, light, and stillness.
These images are made slowly, often during quiet moments outdoors, and are meant to be lived with. Printed thoughtfully and designed to bring a sense of calm into everyday spaces.
they’re an extension of the same values that guide my photography: presence, simplicity, and meaning.
For those who connect with this way of seeing, my art collection offers another way to bring that feeling home.
